A look back...

2nd Update
Several people that I have talked to have asked how this all started. It all happened so fast and I just realized that you guys are in the dark about how this came about! Dad starting having "spells"about two months ago. It felt like an adrenaline rush. He had been to the doctor and they were in the process of running tests. The thing that alarmed the doctors the most was the fact that he would get a strong odor when he had these spells. They did the cat scan, it came back clear. The next step was an appointment with a neurologists. He went back to work after two weeks off and started to feel worse. He was very weak and just didnt feel right, Mom picked him up from work and took him to the doctor. The blood work at that point showed an infection. They gave him antibiotics and sent him home. That same day his "spells" (which we now were seizures) got worse and came one after another. He was to weak to make it to the hospital so mom called EMS to come get him. Once he was in the hospital, they started checking him from head to toe to find out what was going on. They found a mass on his adrenal gland, but said there were no signs of cancer. This explained everything he had been going through. The weight loss, the loss of appetite, the anxiety and the change in his personality. We were relieved and ready to put this all behind us. Then came the MRI of the brain that showed the abnormality. They said it could be an infection, a build up from a small stroke, or a tumor. They did the biopsy on Monday and that is when we found it was a Glioma tumor.

I hope this makes sense and answers some question that you may have had. I want this website to be helpful and answer your questions since I know you are all so concerned. I will do my best to get all the information to you. Forgive me if I dont make sense at times, this is very consuming and it is hard to think straight at times.

Believe. Prayer works and God can move this mountain!!!!
